Research Interests
Environmental ecology and environment change, recent details as below:
Our research recent mainly focuses on Qinling Vegetation response to climate change and farmland ecosystem in terms of greenhouse gas emissions. The results showed that air temperature turned to warmer significantly between 1959 and 2009, while vegetation sensitively responsed to climate change in 1982-2009 especially, However, the vegetation cover presented a decreasing trend in this study area, Characterized by showing a higher decreasing rate in northern region rather that southern parts. Vegetation index(NDVI) in northern region of Qinling Mountain was correlated significantly with the air temperature, the correlation coefficient up to 0.75 (P<0 .05), therefore, qinling mountains has become a sensitive area for global climate change research.
